Rowing & Paddling
Collegiate crews come to Lake Lanier for spring training and regattas. The Olympic course is about 10 minutes from your rooms.
Spring training trips · Regatta weekends · Early breakfast for race morningsPrivate team breakfasts, a pool deck that turns into your stretching and recovery zone, a room for team meetings, and Lake Lanier Olympic Park about 10 minutes away. The Guest Lodge is set up to work like a training base, not just a place to sleep.
Coaches tell us the hard part of a team trip isn't the training. It's everything around it: feeding forty athletes on time, finding space to stretch and talk, and keeping everyone together. That's the part we take care of.
We serve your team's breakfast separately in our meeting room, so athletes eat together, away from the main lobby, before the first session.
Lake Lanier Olympic Park, the 1996 Olympic rowing venue, is about 10 minutes away. Local ballfields and training venues are close by too.
Lay out yoga mats around the pool deck for mobility work, stretching and cool-down sessions. In season, the pool is right there for an easy recovery swim.
Use the meeting room for film review, race plans or a team talk. Downtown Gainesville's restaurants are about 5 minutes away for team dinners.
Renovated rooms with tile floors, comfortable beds and quiet corridors, close together so your team stays together.

Big teams and a busy breakfast area don't mix. So for team stays we set breakfast up separately in our meeting room, just for your athletes and staff.
Everyone eats together, coaches can run through the day's plan, and you're out the door on schedule. Ask us about timing breakfast around early sessions.
Your athletes are welcome to set up yoga mats around the pool for stretching, mobility work, yoga and cool-downs: open air, plenty of room, and steps from their rooms.
It's the simplest part of a training camp to forget, and the one athletes notice most after a hard day on the water or the field.
